There has been a steady increase in the number of babies born in the Edinburgh Jewish community, and the Parent and Toddler's group has been set up to cater for this section of our community.

This fun group meets regularly (on a Sunday) for a morning in the Community Centre, where the mums / dads and children (under the age of 5) can meet in a Jewish setting. The children can play with toys, and also through books, songs and games learn a little about Jewish festivals and celebrations.  Snacks are provided for both the children and parents. The group also provides a forum for young parents to find out about other social events in the Edinburgh Jewish Community.

By meeting on a Sunday, parents are given an ideal opportunity to take older children to Cheder and younger ones to the Parent and Toddler group, whilst mixing with all the other Jewish parents converging on the Shul for the purposes of their children.
