The Shul Events Committee incorporates the function of the former Ladies Guild and organises events centred around the religious life of the community.

The committee is responsible for preparing the weekly Shabbat Kiddush, attending to the upkeep of the silver and mantles in the Synagogue, preparing and decorating the Succah, and providing floral decorations for Shavuot.

The committee also prepares communal Friday Night Dinners, a Break the Fast meal for the end of Yom Kippur, Seudahs on Purim, Yom Ha’Atzmaut and Shavuot, and helps the Cheder parents to organise the childrens’ parties at Chanukah and Purim.
